Some appliances such as refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners require special handling as the Freon content could be harmful to our environment. At Ace, we can dispose of such responsibly. A surcharge is included for these appliances because of the special handling. All other appliances are available for pick up and ready to be loaded in our truck.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO PREPARE TO HAVE REFRIGERATOR DISPOSED
These are a few items that you have you ensure before our team comes to pick up your old refrigerator:
- Unplug the refrigerator in advance to defrost it.
- Empty the refrigerator by removing all perishable food and liquid.
- Tape loose items such as shelves or drawers.
- Inform our team if the door is broken or loose.
- Clear all hallway to ease passage of the refrigerator with the aid of a dolly.
- Inform us in advance if there are stairs (number of steps) from the location of the refrigerator to the loading area.
